This firm was founded by Leo Guterres, whose family were involved in the Financial Services and Accounting profession for decades. His grandfather was a stockbroker based in Hong Kong, and his father trained under the “big firm” Peat Marwick, Mitchell & Co. This naturally encouraged Leo to pursue a similar path, with a solid foundation as an auditor with Hungerford, Hancock & Offner which then became KPMG.

This training has given Leo the instinctive ability to “probe to the bottom”, which is important when investigating into clients’ affairs to produce the most appropriate outcome.

Leo is the Licensee of Central Securities Pty Ltd, which is a privately owned Australian Financial Services License (No. 305918). He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has over 30 years’ experience in the accounting, general business and private wealth industry. Leo also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting and finance from the University of New South Wales, as well as an accreditation as an SMSF specialist adviser from the SMSF Association.
